AI has been on the rise like the shuttle sent by Space X, one that can leave EI on the back burner. You might be wondering what AI & EI stand for: (Artificial Intelligence & Emotional Intelligence). The order was definitely not due to importance rather simple alphabetical order. AI keeps growing like food pumped by steroids, it has become more intriguing and easier to envision than a responsible society which holds itself accountable. I wonder if we have forgotten about EI, a critical participant and a moral compass impossible to replicate.
Our emotional intelligence has become an endangered species, with implications we have not grasped. One of our society’s glitches is that we merely scratch the surface of our troubles when we should be digging deep into the root of it all. We tend to float on the surface of problems because diving-in like embarking into a deep ocean can be horrifying. However, eradicating the source of the problem is much better than a continuous waste of band-aids. The truth is that for far too long we have based our lives on appearances and fear of the unknown.
If we stripped what we have known from the shell that covers it all, do we still think the same? What if regardless of our age, race, ethnicity, color, gender, we remember we were all kids at once. The love and compassion we should all share. All of the sudden those walls come down and a feeling of charm grows. We need to march forward into a place of action where we dissolve unfairness. We must take ownership over our lives and make changes that affect all of us in a constructive way. I sure want a better world for those to come and not just AI.
One of the beautiful things about the current times is that our issues have become clearer than before. Tribulation allows us the opportunity to identify the source in order to grow. A house can look great and have foundation problems, that’s why inspections are important and why our personal accountability is essential. We are part of a society: individuals with common areas and responsibilities. The root of our issues go beyond facades and it is because we’ve accustomed ourselves to be narrow minded. Allowing our trivial ways to blind us from what really matters.
We have grown with too many roaches in our heads. Roaches are dirty, they carry diseases. If we don’t take care of them an invasion starts to manifest, and we’ve had an infestation which has lingered for too long. The roaches have been exposed. It is time to clean our homes. The target is not a person but the disease itself. We must first eradicate the disease from within ourselves. Let’s strip ourselves from our thoughts, from the wrongful practices of before. We need to take strong and positive steps into our present future and find the real substance of it all.

I’m just a kid! I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Our emotional intelligence is overwhelmed by the chaos in our world so that we have little capacity to make the connections we need on an individual level. It is these connections that make us stronger together and ensure emotional stability and connectedness.
