You Are What You Eat

“He can who thinks he can, and he can’t who thinks he can’t. This is an inexorable, indisputable law.”
Pablo Picasso

Happy Monday! I’m sure we have all heard the title of today’s blog. Except I think the emphasis of it has to do with a lot more than just food, let’s chew on it… What we listen to, what we watch, the people we surround ourselves with, they all play a significant role. We are a product of our environment and awareness is of the essence.

Unconsciously or not, what we believe and what we say carries weight. We might be unaware but we are constantly communicating a positive or negative train of thought. So optimism is vital, it doesn’t mean being unrealistic, but it means focusing on solutions. Don’t focus on what you can’t control, put your energy into what you can accomplish now, momentum takes off at some point or another.

We need to pay attention to what energizes us, what inspires us, how we feel around certain things and certain people. We have the tools and power to change our lives, we can mold life into what we desire, and what we tell ourselves is a crucial part of this. When you talk to yourself, are you being encouraging? Are you a solution finder or a problem seeker? Start each day the right way! #happymeal

Dedicated to all of those who enrich my life… I love you.

P.S. The photo to the left is from my 5th birthday party & the photo to the right while at Mr.Charlie’s. New times 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Hi! I look forward to sharing topics and reading your thoughts :). I was born in Colombia, lived in TX for 12.5 years, and I now live in LA. Life has the tendency of throwing curveballs, and I've learned that preparation is of the essence. Preparation starts with knowing who we are, and what we want, the rest is history... I am a big admirer of art, artists, passion and creativity. Cheers to originality. I think all problems in life arise from communication. The solution is to become better listeners to ourselves, others, and hopefully be able to express and convey what we actually need… Art has the capacity of expressing what we can not at times. Art is not constricted to one thing... #thecircleoflife #letsgrowtogether
